Gummi 0.4.2 released

One final update before the upcoming 0.5.0 has just been uploaded to the download pages. Gummi 0.4.2 is an intermediate release that offers a new, more robust preview-update mechanism. Also included is an improved way of detecting latex errors. Fatal errors in the active document will now be highlighted in the editor panel until they are corrected. Packages for the mayor distributions have been updated, and can be found in the download area. Enjoy 0.4.2!

Dear alexandervdm + Co.,
What a promising projekt! !!!
Being forced to use Word/swriter at work for compatibility reasons for coauthoring, I happily come back to LaTeX (using kile) whenever I have an opportunity. I do this purely for aestethic reasons – the outcome is so beautyful. To my knowlwedge only whizzytex for emacs offers what you offer: Live preview. And emacs IMHO is terrible to get used to. Without having it really tested so far: Your program offers exactly what I am interested in – in an extremely intuitive GUI at least for me: writing a text, including figures with captions and use references (- thereby always the magnificent output in sight :-) ).
Please, please carry on developing!
Being myself not a programmer, the only help I can offer is some pure typing-dummie-work and maybe some ideas…
Cheers
Michael
